Empowering Auto Refreshes Its Brand Identity to Reflect Next Phase of Growth
Toronto, ON — February 18, 2026 — Empowering Auto announced a refreshed brand identity, marking a new chapter for the Canada-based nonprofit as it enters its next phase of growth. The update reflects what Empowering Auto has become: a national platform for connection, leadership, and opportunity built with and for its community.
This refresh is intentional, not cosmetic. It brings greater clarity, alignment, and flexibility so Empowering Auto can keep pace with a rapidly evolving automotive and mobility sector while staying focused on what matters most: expanding access, strengthening career pathways, and advancing representation.
At the center of the update is a clear shift: Empowering Auto is removing its “auto” logo mark, elevating the wordmark typography, and introducing a bolder colour palette, while keeping the mission the same.
“The rebrand reflects the growth and momentum we’ve built together,” said Katherine Mior, Co- Founder of Empowering Auto. “It’s a reminder that you can keep evolving and pushing forward while staying grounded in your goals and values. We have new branding, but the same heart.” While the previous logo served its purpose early on, it never became the rallying point the community deserved. More importantly, Empowering Auto’s work and impact now extend beyond a single visual symbol, or a narrow interpretation of what “auto” can mean.
“We honestly didn’t love the initial logo, but we put it together quickly since we were using it for an internal meeting,” said Aryan Habib, Co-Founder of Empowering Auto. “This refresh comes at the right moment in our evolution, as we’ve grown from an internal half-day into a fast- growing, inclusive movement. We needed an identity that aligns with where we’re going next, and it’s a strong nod to our theme, Progress Over Perfection, for our flagship conference on October 8, 2026.”
The refreshed identity is designed to be cleaner, more modern, and easier to apply across every touchpoint, from events and partnerships to digital experiences. It preserves what has always carried the most meaning, Empowering Auto’s name, purpose, and values, while creating space for the organization to evolve alongside a rapidly transforming industry. “We knew Empowering Auto needed to show up bigger and more consistently than ever before,” said Brittany Cramer, Marketing Lead, Empowering Auto. “This rebrand gives us a clearer, more cohesive platform to reflect who we are today and to support the next phase of growth for our community.”
This update is also an invitation to imagine bigger. As the sector continues to shift through technology, electrification, evolving workforce needs, and changing consumer expectations, Empowering Auto is ensuring its brand can support new collaborations, new programs, and new ways of serving its growing community. This isn’t about leaving the past behind. It’s about representing it with pride and stepping forward with a brand built for what’s next.
