Empowering Auto congratulates Agnes Di Leonardi on Being Named a 2025 Automotive News Canada Champion
TORONTO, Ontario — Match 12, 2026 — Empowering Auto congratulates Agnes Di Leonardi on being named a 2025 Automotive News Canada Champion of Diversity, recognizing executives who are strengthening workplace culture and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion across Canada’s automotive and mobility sector. Di Leonardi is featured in Automotive News Canada’s annual Champions of Diversity coverage.
Automotive News Canada’s Champions of Diversity program spotlights leaders who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to improving DEI in their organizations and communities—helping create workplaces where more voices are heard, talent is supported, and opportunity is expanded.
“For me, being a champion of diversity means a commitment to action—ensuring everyone’s voice is heard and that organizations and industries mirror their customer base,” said Agnes Di Leonardi. “When you include a diverse group of people who are representative of your customer base, you’re going to get better decisions and results.”
Di Leonardi added that the recognition reflects work that often happens behind the scenes. “Similar to receiving the 2025 Canadian Black Book Automotive Icon Award, I felt grateful that my efforts to drive the industry forward were recognized—and that my voice was heard,” she said. “Oftentimes, this important work to create a more inclusive culture is done when no one is watching.”
“Agnes has helped raise the bar for what inclusive leadership looks like in our industry,” said Brittany Cramer at Empowering Auto. “We’re proud to celebrate her recognition—and even more proud of the impact she continues to have on teams, organizations, and the broader community.”
Di Leonardi joins a growing group of Empowering Auto community leaders recognized through Automotive News Canada’s Champions of Diversity program, reflecting the momentum behind industry-wide efforts to build workplaces where more people can thrive.
