Jacqui Barker joined the automotive industry in 1993 as a rookie in media sales for a brand new car magazine at the time called Max Power. Her career in Automotive media spanned 20 years, multiple launches of Car magazines, including Evo magazine, numerous B2B events, bespoke creative, Industry research and latterly digital media.
Her career transitioned into technology following an opportunity to launch the OEM channel for Autotrader in the UK in 2013, during that time her experience with OEMs and the ability to translate audience behavior in the digital space enabled OEMs and their agencies maximise the opportunity with an in-market audience of car buyers.
For the last 10 years her purpose has been to support initiatives that enable the car buying and ownership experience, she worked with a Fintech startup/scaleup then spent 6 years with a European ecommerce agency specialising in automotive digital retail which became a lifeline during covid.
For the last 3 years she has worked globally for Keyloop who provide full stack technology across the full automotive lifecycle.
She is dedicated to supporting women in the industry and was awarded the Barbara Cox Woman of the Year award in 2024 for her work in that field.
