CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Aryan Habib (pronoun she/her) is manager, Connected Vehicles & Telematics Business at Hyundai Auto Canada, a role she was promoted to in 2021, after holding the title of advanced technology planner since 2019. 

As the Hyundai and Genesis gatekeeper to customers through their phones, Aryan is responsible for the strategy development, program deployment and the feature & service product planning for Bluelink and Genesis Connected Services, as well as the integration of telematics data into the digital retailing and service DMS system. In August of 2022, Aryan and her team launched a massive overhaul of the Bluelink app, with enhancements reflecting Canadian consumers’ input. Aryan lead the reception of the app from an App Store rating of 1.9 to 4.1 in under a year. In 2023, Aryan launched Digital Key on the new Kona, the first vehicle in Canada to offer new digital key technology that works with smartphones and watches across platforms at launch. In 2023, Aryan and her team launched a massive overhaul of the Genesis Intelligent Assistant app.

Aryan’s well rounded automotive career began with Hyundai Canada in 2016, through separate roles in sales and distribution.  A big believer in collaboration and a true team player, Aryan is a networking maven outside of Hyundai, and brings people together on the inside at Hyundai to generate new ideas and improve processes. Aryan lead ‘Innovating at HAC’ which included internal consulting across departments and project management of innovating projects. From this came Hyundai’s current trim naming structure, Hyundai for Hire, and a digital delivery app.

Aryan is a recipient of a Hyundai Core Value Award for Challenge for her commitment to 'Innovating at HAC.' Aryan is also a co-founder of Women at Hyundai Canada, an employee resource group which creates dialogue for change and the empowerment of female team members, customers and partners.

Aryan was named one of Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 by WXN in 2023. Aryan was recognized in the RBC Future Launch Future Leaders category. This award recognizes five exceptional young women, between 15 and 29 years old, who are transforming their communities through innovation, collaboration and courage.

Aryan is also a member of Ontario Tech University’s Women for STEM council. The Women for STEM program enable women students to fulfill their potential in STEM based fields via scholarships, mentorship, and celebrations.

Outside of work, Aryan spends her time driving for pleasure, swimming (her ideal day would be spent at a waterpark), playing and watching basketball, and staying up-to-date with the latest TikTok content.
